Stuart Munger

With much sadness I must report that longtime Speedway insider Stuart Munger has died from an apparent heart attack last night. Know as “The REV” Stuart was well know in Speedway circles.

He worked with John LaDouceur at IMS during the Speedway high days. Later in life he worked for Los Angeles Times owner Otis Chandler at his private museum doing what he enjoyed the most. Buying and restoring vintage anything and everything.

An avid collector of antique cars and motorcycles for years he owned one of the few legitimate Crocker Speedway bikes in existence. He is a member of the Trailblazers Motorcycle club.

Stuart who survived a five way heart bypass procedure several years ago died doing what he enjoyed most. Sitting in the garage telling stories about days gone, friends and machines. A genuine good guy he will be missed.
