TrailBlazer Friends

The Trailblazers send condolences to the families of Linda Petton and Jack Perkins. Linda Petton, widow of 46X Travis Petton Sr., passed away last week in San Diego County. Travis was a top TT specialist at Ascot and El Cajon Speedway during the 60s until his race related death at Ascot. Their son Travis Jr. continued the Petton tradition in racing, earning Class C Expert status in the 80s and still continues in vintage racing. "Hydraulic" Jack Perkins, long time member of the Dirt Diggers Motorcycle Club, passed away on December 31, 2009. He didn't want any tears, just a big party, so friends thought it was fitting he went on New Years Eve.

Donna Rockwood

An email was received from Tim Rockwood, son of Roxy and Donna Rockwood, that Donna passed away on January 21st following a short battle with Cancer. According to Tim, she passed very peacefully and in no pain. He added that the family is in the process of planning a Celebration of her life, tentatively set for Saturday, February 6th in Palm Springs. More details will be provided when they are finalized. Roxy died in 1990.
