Homer Bast

We have received word that Homer Bast has passed away. No details at this time. Homer and Harlan made up the Bast Brothers racing team, very well known in Southern California racing circles for desert and Class C. They owned Bast Brothers welding shop in San Fernando Valley and produced skid plates that just about everyone who ride a Triumph in the desert used. Homer's sons Steve (deceased) and Mike became star Speedway riders. Harlan and Homer moved their welding business and families to Auburn many years ago. The close knit family stayed active in motorcycling and racing. Godspeed Homer, you are a respected Trailblazer.
